These straps are handcrafted in Toronto, Canada using harness leather from the Wickett & Craig tannery. The simple lace-through design has a small leather hook for attaching the ukulele, and a soft, cushioned leather-wrapped pad for extra comfort. This style ukulele strap is -NOT- a free-standing support - gravity helps to hold the hook in place, but it also relies on the player's hands to keep it upright. It's compatible with both acoustic and electric instruments, and it has a max loop-length of 115cm (45"). For added comfort and durability, all edges are rounded and burnished smooth.
These straps are produced by hand - carefully and one at a time, with full commitment to quality and detail; It will be at your service for many years, taking on a rich character with age.
Every hide is different, and each one will have its own signature look; range markings, scars, and wrinkles give each piece a unique character. The color examples were photographed under natural light, and they're a good representation of how the leather looks in person, but some variation is always to be expected. With regular exposure to dirt and everyday life, the materials will darken and take on a warm patina.
