Handmade Leather Belt: cut from beautiful full-grain vegetable-tanned leather.


Designed to be at your service for many years, This leather belt will take on a wonderful rich character with age. They're 1.5" in width, with a tapered, low profile tail-end. Its hand-stitched construction is fitted with a solid brass buckle that has a muted, satin-steel finish. For added comfort and durability, all edges are rounded and burnished smooth with a soft wax finish. 

These belts are measured from buckle to center-hole. The end product will have extra holes for adjustment in both directions. Generally, your belt size is different from your waist size, usually 2-3 inches larger. SIZE diagram


These custom leather belts are made in Canada using beautiful full-grain harness leather from the Wickett & Craig tannery.

LEATHER

Every hide is different, and each one will have its own signature look; range markings, scars, and wrinkles give each piece a unique character. The color examples were photographed under natural light, and they're a good representation of how the leather looks in person, but some variation is always to be expected. With regular exposure to dirt and everyday life, the materials will darken and take on a warm patina.

UPDATE: Changed from 3 to 5 stars. TLDR: The length of the belt was a production issue. Service is A M A Z I N G !!

I contacted Ochre and Julian Petti contacted me promptly. From the start, even before understanding the issue or seeing pictures, his objective was for me to be 100% satisfied with his creation and NOT ONCE he tried to justify himself. Once he saw pictures and understood that it was a production oversight, he corrected the situation without hesitation. This is the reason we support local businesses, and his attittude should be the gold standard of customer service. Period. Thank you Julian!!

------ Previous review--------

The belt is beautiful and great quality, but it is shorter than other belt I own: there is not a lot of material after the last hole, between 1.5-2 inch shorter than other belts I have. Using the second to last hole, there is not enough material to reach the first belt loop.

Also, there is only 5 holes, not 7 as shown on the pictures.

Im not sure if it was an oversight on my order, but a longer tapered end like on the pictures would have made this a 5 stars belt easy. As it is, its only a 3 stars.
