SHOCKBAND: a buckle-free leather watch strap with a hidden stretch closure

The SHOCKBAND is a handmade leather watch strap designed for the daily grind. Instead of a traditional buckle, these bands use a hidden shock cord closure laminated inside the strap. This approach creates a highly adaptable fit, allowing the soft leather cuff to flex and form with every movement. The absence of metal hardware under the wrist makes for a smooth, seamless grip. Available in both 22mm and 24mm lug widths and a variety of leather/stitch combinations. 

Each strap is fully bespoke and made to measure. They're crafted using full grain leathers from Horween and Wickett & Craig, the kind of leather that gets more beautiful with age. It is particularly well-suited for watch straps, with rich grain detail, excellent durability, and an almost supernatural patina. These straps are designed to perform well in the wild and age beautifully.

IMPORTANT SIZE INFORMATION: These handmade watch straps have a precise, one-size fit with no closure - extra care must be taken to record your measurement correctly. The best method is to use your existing band as the template -- your size is equal to the lug-to-lug measurement of your current band (not including the watch itself). Use the sizing diagram as a guide, and feel free to contact me with any questions about fit and sizing. These straps include a courtesy set of generic telescopic spring-bars. They may not fit all watches - in some cases, it may be necessary to substitute the watch manufacturer's spring-bars.

These straps are handmade in Canada using full grain leather from Horween and Wickett & Craig.

Every hide is different, and each one will have its own signature look; range markings, scars, and wrinkles give each piece a unique character. The color examples were photographed under natural light, and they're a good representation of how the leather looks in person, but some variation is always to be expected. With regular exposure to dirt and everyday life, the materials will darken and take on a warm patina.
