This handmade leather ukulele strap is built to be at your service for many years. They're crafted the slow way -by hand, and with careful attention to every detail. We use full grain harness leather from the Wickett & Craig tannery, the kind that improves with age. It is particularly well-suited for music straps: soft springy feel, superb durability, brilliant burnish, and an almost supernatural patina. This simple design shines on tour, at the campfire, and everywhere in between.

This custom uke strap is 15mm wide, and it has a length range of 95-115 (38"-45"). It's paired with a thin smooth braided lace, which attaches to the instrument's headstock. This strap works best with Tenor or Baritone ukuleles, but it can attach to any concert or soprano ukes that have a strap button installed. For added comfort and durability, all edges are rounded and burnished smooth. This strap can also be personalized with a unique name or monogram.

*IMPORTANT: your ukulele must have a strap button installed on the body; this strap will not work without one.

These custom ukulele straps are made in Canada using beautiful full-grain harness leather from the legendary Wickett & Craig tannery.

 

Every hide is different, and each one will have its own signature look; range markings, scars, and wrinkles give each piece a unique character. The color examples were photographed under natural light, and they're a good representation of how the leather looks in person, but some variation is always to be expected. With regular exposure to dirt and everyday life, the materials will darken and take on a warm patina.
